Quality rating
The phone number quality rating reflects how recipients respond to messages from a WhatsApp Business number over roughly the previous seven days. It is driven by customer feedback signals such as blocks and reports.

Meta Business Manager → WhatsApp Manager → Phone numbers — see the Quality rating column.
States
- High (green)
- Medium (yellow)
- Low (red)
High quality supports eligibility for better messaging capacity and features. On yellow/red, check WhatsApp Manager insights (including block feedback when Meta provides it).
Block reason signals
When users block a business they may select reasons such as spam, offensive messages, didn’t sign up, no longer needed, or no reason. Use these signals to improve templates and opt-in practices.
Historical view
In Phone numbers settings you can review quality over recent days to spot trends.
